Vitamin C

Vitamin C is a water-soluble nutrient that helps to protect the body's cells against oxidative stress. It also helps restore damaged vitamin E in the body. The skin contains a lot of vitamin C, but vitamin C levels in the skin decrease with age. Vitamin C the skin and other body tissues to maintain their normal functions. Sun exposure is known to reduce the skin's content of vitamin C. Vitamin C is also important for teeth and bones because of its supportive role in the body's collagen synthesis.

Vitamin E

Vitamin E is a lipid-soluble vitamin that contributes to the protection of  the body’s cells against oxidative stress caused by harmful free radicals. Oxidative stress speeds up the aging of skin cells.

Biotin

Biotin, formerly known as vitamin B8, is a water-soluble vitamin that functions as a coenzyme and contributes to the body's normal energy metabolism. Biotin helps to maintain normal skin, mucous membranes, and hair.

Zinc

Zinc is an essential mineral with antioxidant properties. It takes part in about 200 different enzyme functions in the body where it contributes to the maintenance of normal skin, hair, nails, and vision. Our skin stores around six percent of the body's total zinc reserve and is incorporated as a stabilizing factor in skin cell membranes. Zinc is required for the formation of DNA and the proteins used to produce hair cells. Zinc is also needed for the cell division in healthy nails.

Selenium

Selenium is an essential mineral and antioxidant that contributes to the protection of the body's cells against oxidative stress. Selenium contributes to the maintenance of hair and nails. Hair and nails mainly consist of keratin, which is a protein. Keratin is made keratinocytes, a type of cells that cannot carry out their function without the presence of different selenium-containing enzymes (selenoproteins). Evelle contains the patented Danish selenium yeast, SelenoPrecise, which consists of more than 20 different organic selenium species and has good absorption.

Collagen

Evelle contains collagen derived from fish, mainly from fish skin. It is hydrolyzed (degraded to peptides) for enhanced effect. Collagen forms a vital structural part of cartilage and skin.

Horsetail extract

Horsetail is a herbal plant and a rich source of organically bound silicon. It is the third most abundant trace element in the human body. The tissues that contain the largest concentrations of silicon are skin, connective tissue, tendons, and arteries.

Tomato extract

Tomato extract is a rich and bioavailable source of lycopene. It is also a plant pigment and a carotenoid. Lycopene is related to beta-carotene. Lycopene is a bioavailable substance that belongs naturally in tissue and plasma in the human body.

Bilberry extract

Contains a natural coloring agent called anthocyanin and a substance called pterostilben. Bilberry extract helps to maintain healthy vision because of its antioxidant properties and through its effect on the blood vessels.

French maritime pine extract (Pycnogenol^®)

A patented extract from the bark of French maritime pine. The extract contains a unique mix of water-soluble, natural bioflavonoids and fruit acids. Pycnogenol helps protect the skin cells from damage from oxidative stress and promotes good blood circulation.
